In our experience, we think you will enjoy this specific tour if you are a cyclist with good bike handling skills, ability to accomplish multiple climbs of moderate grade (6-7%), the fitness to be on the bicycle for 4-5 hours a day, and the ability to ride safely with other cyclists in a line.

RIDE GOLD FOR THE PROSECCO CYCLING EVENT

In autumn, the grape harvest is underway and Italian spirits are high.  After an operatic start, the gran fondo rolls through vineyards gold from autumn sun.  Enjoy shrimp scampi and prosecco rest stops on a ride designed to raise your spirits and at least one full glass.  The party at the finish line is pure Italy. You’ll enjoy Gold level riding, including a special gift box, ride start from the front, and a sumptuous buffet with endless Prosecco at the finish.

E-BIKES WELCOME

Unlike most organized European events, Prosecco Cycling welcomes e-bikes on ride day, which means friends can enjoy the day together.  E- bikes are of course welcome throughout the trip, and the choice of a Pinarello Nytro e-bike, Dogma X, or Grevil is included in our Prosecco package.

Visit the Roman hilltop city of Asolo for coffee and arrive at Valdobbiade, where the finest Prosecco in the world is made.

Arrival and welcome

You’ll have a chance to settle in and then have your bike fitting and a bike review on shifters, braking, riding in Italy, etc. You’ll receive your kit and water bottles and tour the Bike Room, where you’ll conveniently store your gear and find water, cycling food, and electrolytes for your rides from the hotel.

On the way to Treviso

After breakfast, we will leave for Treviso and go straight to our hotel, Villa Soligo. There we will check in and enjoy a quick lunch. After our first ride in the area, we’ll enjoy dinner in a local restaurant.

RIDE OF THE DAY: Asolo ride: 60 KM – 480 M 37 MI – 1574 FT

After breakfast, we will ride a rolling 60 km towards Valdobbiadene, with a caffe stop at Asolo.  In Valdobbiadene, we’ll pick up our extra special Prosecco Cycling welcome pack and then visit Locanda Sandi for a delicious lunch of regional specialties.

RIDE OF THE DAY: Prosecco Cycling: 100 KM – 1500 M 62 MI – 4921 FT

Wake up to a super energy breakfast. Roll down to the start and enjoy the music and spectacle that makes this ride famous. As a GOLD level cyclist you’ll start  at the front.  At the end of the beautiful ride, you’ll enjoy an extensive buffet under the loggia on the piazza, where the music is fun and the Villa Sandi Prosecco freely flows.  In the evening, share anecdotes and experiences at a celebration dinner in a local restaurant.

20 YEARS IN THE BUSINESS

Since 2005, we create cycling holidays for guests from all around the world. Our home is Garda Bike Hotel, on Lake Garda, one of the most famous bike hotel. Each year we create unique cycling experiences for over 1000 guests.

100% ITALIAN

We are not a foreign agency that sells trips and outsources the management of clients to third parties. Nor are we  just local cyclists, who operate without any controls. Nicola, Davide, Elisa or Alberto are always present in person with our staff at every event.

CERTIFIED TOUR OPERATOR

We are a certified tour operator,  with all the official documentation. We are Italians and our headquarters are in italy.

INSURANCE

We include with all our tours insurance for cancellation, assistance, medical expense, reimbursement, lost luggage. Not all  tour operators include this service.

NO CANCELLATION

Most of our trips will run when between 3–4 people are booked.  We have never cancelled a trip due to low numbers. However, there is no guarantee of this in the future. If we cancel a trip, we will give you full credit to be applied to any other one of our trips within 2 years.
