Recommended Cycling Level

★★★★☆

In our experience, we think you will enjoy this specific Tour if you are a serious, experienced cyclist who seeks long challenging climbs and descents and long days on the bike.

In October, mountain weather can be extreme, and riders need to be experienced and comfortable with wet roads, rainy conditions, and traffic.  The event happens late in the season, and temperatures can be quite cold, especially at the start.
