★★
In our experience, you will enjoy this trip if you are a regular cyclist, comfortable spending 4–5 hours in the saddle and riding several days in a row. We recommend an e-bike to make the experience more relaxed and enjoyable, allowing you to focus on the scenery rather than the effort.
Most of the journey follows beautiful cycling paths and quiet roads with very little traffic, making this the perfect way to experience the mountains at your own pace.
Ride through landscapes that seem almost too beautiful to be real, from endless vineyards and Alpine valleys to crystal-clear lakes and the dramatic peaks of the Dolomites rising above you.
Much of the journey follows some of Northern Italy's most beautiful cycling paths, including the Adige Valley, Val Venosta, the Puster Valley and the historic railway route between Dobbiaco and Cortina.
Marvel at the beauty of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its unique geology and spectacular landscapes.
Explore charming mountain villages, where you can immerse yourself in local culture and savor delicious South Tyrolean cuisine.
Arrival in Peschiera del Garda, to our headquarters Garda Bike Hotel, bike fitting, aperitif with the tour leader and overnight.
This trip begins with arrival at our home at Enjoy Garda Hotel/Garda Bike Hotel in centrally located Peschiera del Garda, where we can fit you to the perfect bike from our fleet. Meet other trip participants while settling into our time zone. Participants often add even more days at Garda Bike Hotel before or after the Andiamo experience so they can enjoy Lake Garda rides too.
Our first ride takes us through the beautiful Morainic Hills surrounding Lake Garda: a landscape of rolling vineyards, quiet country roads, medieval villages and peaceful countryside.
It’s the perfect introduction to the week: a relaxed ride to get comfortable on the bikes, enjoy the Italian scenery and, of course, make time for a cappuccino or two along the way.
Today we leave Lake Garda behind and begin our journey north toward the mountains.
A short transfer takes us to Avio, where we join the beautiful Adige cycling path and start riding north through vineyards and beneath the dramatic mountains of Trentino.
From Mori, our route continues toward Nago before entering the spectacular Valle dei Laghi, a peaceful landscape of mountains, vineyards and crystal-clear lakes.
We finish our ride in Terlago, where our van will be waiting to take us to elegant Merano, our home for the night.
Today we experience one of the most beautiful cycling paths in the Italian Alps.
After a scenic transfer to Passo Resia, near the Austrian border, we’ll stop to admire the iconic bell tower of Curon rising from the waters of Lake Resia, one of the most unique and photographed sights in South Tyrol, before starting our journey through Val Venosta.
And this is the kind of day we love: almost 75 kilometers of breathtaking Alpine scenery, but mostly gently downhill!
We’ll ride past traditional villages, apple orchards, forests and soaring mountain peaks, following the valley all the way toward Merano. And what better way to finish the day than with a well-earned beer at the historic Forst brewery?
Today our journey takes us deeper into the mountains as we make our way toward the Puster Valley and the Dolomites.
Starting near Brunico, we follow the beautiful cycling path through one of South Tyrol’s most picturesque Alpine valleys. Green meadows, forests, traditional villages and mountain peaks accompany us as we ride east toward Dobbiaco.
Those looking for a little more can continue along the famous Drava Cycle Path toward Austria, while our support van gives us the flexibility to adapt the day to the group.
By the end of the ride, we’ll have reached the gateway to the Dolomites and the scenery is about to become even more spectacular.
We’ve saved something very special for our final ride.
From Dobbiaco, we follow the historic railway line toward Cortina d’Ampezzo, riding through forests, alongside Alpine lakes and beneath some of the most spectacular peaks in the Dolomites.
The route is partly unpaved, but the smooth gravel surface is perfectly suited to our bikes and only adds to the sense of adventure.
Along the way, the legendary Tre Cime di Lavaredo rise above the landscape before we eventually roll into Cortina, one of the most iconic mountain towns in Italy.
And there’s one last surprise. Those looking for an extra challenge can continue the ride with the climb up to Lake Misurina, while those ready to relax can hop in the van and enjoy the scenic drive instead. Either way, we’ll all stop at this iconic Alpine lake to take in one last unforgettable view of the Dolomites.
