In our experience, we think you will enjoy this specific tour if you are a cyclist with good bike handling skills, ability to accomplish multiple climbs of moderate grade (6-7%), the fitness to be on the bicycle for 4-5 hours a day, and the ability to ride safely with other cyclists in a line.
Sicily has the most Italian UNESCO World Heritage Sites. At 2,700 years old, Siracusa is a layered labyrinth of Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Norman, and North African cultures set on the edge of an impossibly turquoise sea.Further down the coast, Taormina climbs the cliffs to unique towns tucked into mountain forests. These cities serve as bases for gorgeous climbs to inland treasures, with cuisine fresh from the sea and forest as reward.
Wind through black lava fields to the snows of Mount Etna, one of the world’s most active volcanoes. Descend wide sweeping roads to the sea, enjoying sweeping Mediterranean coastline views on the way.
Geologic forces are at work on the surface in Sicily, resulting in fascinating riding. Cycle through ancient canyons of the Anapo Preserve. Wind up and down rocky hills and river valleys to the inland architectural treasure of Modica and taste the city’s famous chocolate, with flavors that reflect the island’s diverse cultures. Speed along at sea level, just meters from the tides that have shaped this land for eons.
Soak up sun and savor seafood at a table meters from the sea. Stop at a cafè and enjoy some arancini - rice balls featuring local meats and produce. At night, dine in outstanding top restaurants, with local chefs outdoing each other to produce creative dishes from the world’s freshest ingredients.
Check-in, Bike fitting and welcome dinner.
Pass through Cassaro and Ferla, considered among the most beautiful towns in Italy, and immerse yourself in the charm of authentic Sicily. Explore the Anapo Valley Natural Reserve, renowned for its stunning landscapes and rich archaeological sites.
Leaving from Ispica, our journey unfolds through the winding streets of Modica, where the unmistakable aroma of its famous chocolate fills the air. We continue on to Scicli, a jewel of baroque architecture nestled among rugged hills, before turning our bikes toward the sea. From here, the road leads us along a shimmering coastline, with the scent of salt and wild herbs accompanying every pedal stroke, until we finally arrive in Marzamemi — a small, enchanting fishing village where time seems to slow down and the colors of Sicily glow even brighter
From Aci Reale, we will ride along the stunning coastline to the second destination of our amazing trip: Taormina, a town celebrated for its rich Greek heritage, picturesque streets, and breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea.

We saved the best for the last day: the most epic ride in Sicily. Ride through the town of Nicolosi, known as the “Gateway to Etna” and conquer Mount Etna, Europe’s most active volcano, where the ever-changing landscape of lava fields and lush forests will take your breath away – if the long climb hasn’t already!
